Properties of Matter

This unit is designed for grades four and five students; however it may be extended up to grade eight. It is intended to give the students a positive feeling about science. It will help them not only gain knowledge about the properties of matter, but will also develop other skills in English, math, and social studies. It will provide ways for students to be involved by having "hands on activities." This unit will allow you and your students to have fun while learning about the concepts of matter.
