Ellis Island

For hundreds of years a small island of approximately two acres sat barely visible in the New York harbor. As time progressed, the tiny island became a landmark and later developed into an immigration center known as the Gateway to America. Thousands upon thousands flooded into the center to begin a new life in the United States. Today we can visit this island which is called Ellis Island.
