Great Leaders

The world around us today has been shaped by the presence of the great leaders in history, who have demonstrated leadership principles by inspiring and motivating people to follow them. Leaders such as Jesus, Moses, Martin Luther King Jr., Clara Barton and Mother Teresa, just to name a few. Great Leaders is an interdisciplinary thematic unit designed for grades 6-8. It challenges students to not only understand who many of the great leaders in history have been, but also to apply the leadership principles that they have learned in their homes, churches,  schools and communities. Like the great leaders in history, they too can make a positive impact on the world around them.
